Iranian acclaimed movie, ‘The Recess” directed by Navid Nikkhah Azad, has been selected to compete in the 12th Green Bay Film Festival, or GBFF, in the U.S.
“The Recess” marks its 80th international appearance at the 12th Green Bay Film Festival in the U.S.
“The Recess” tells the story of young Sahar who is determined to watch her favorite soccer team play for the league championship. Inspired by true events, “The Recess” explores gender oppression in Iranian modern society.
The12th edition of the Green Bay Film Festival, or GBFF, takes place from February 1-March 6, 2022 in Green Bay, USA.
