Tehran (NAVID AZAD) – ‘The Recess’ by Navid Nikkhah Azad has been nominated at the 14th ‘SHORT to the Point’ Festival in Romania.
Iranian acclaimed movie, ‘The Recess’ directed by Navid Nikkhah Azad, has received nomination for the Best Narrative Short in the February edition of the 14th ‘SHORT to the Point,’ or STTP, Romania.
“The Recess” marks its 82nd international appearance at the 14th ‘SHORT to the Point (STTP)’ in Romania.
‘The Recess’ tells the story of young Sahar who is determined to watch her favorite soccer team play for the league championship. Inspired by true events, ‘The Recess’ explores gender oppression in Iranian modern society.
The 14th edition of the ‘SHORT to the Point’ Festival will announce the award winners on April 11, 2022.
